They are separate from APET's detailed quarterly charts, which use the weekly AusTender export series. Values represent the maximum reported value of contracts over their lives—not cash paid in that financial year. The dotted line marks a reporting change from FY2024-25, so comparisons across it require care.

Values are reported contract values over the life of each contract—not cash paid or expenditure confined to the selected quarter.
AusTender covers contracts subject to Australian Government reporting rules and thresholds, so it is not a record of every purchase.
Entities may report within the allowed reporting window and later amend, vary or cancel contract notices; APET resolves available amendments at each quarter end.
